WORKSHOP: MANAGING CHANGE
How can you prepare your workforce to meet the challenge of pervasive change?
Given that change is continuous and challenging, especially in the world today, it is essential that leaders and employees alike are prepared to face emerging business realities: restructuring, rightsizing, cost reduction, the need for speed, etc.
This program enables participants to address those changes by first raising their awareness about the difference between change and transition. As William Bridges points out, “It isn’t the change that does you in – it’s the transitions.” Transitions impact how we feel – our emotions – and, as such, it is important to understand what to expect when going through the psychological adjustment that accompanies change.
This workshop outlines both predictable problems and common responses during each phase of the change process. In addition, managers and employees alike learn what their roles are in each phase of the transition.
Participants come to understand their own Change Style and learn how to effectively navigate in a changing environment. Additionally, they have an opportunity to explore and build their capacity for resilience.
